Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts. according to my Ford service dvd, all the running lights (i.e. tail, license,front parking) are all off of F2 fuse 15amp. the only item different is the ground. both license plate lights use a common ground. check the socket for 12volts using a ground point on a body panel screw or some other bare metal.

So, if your brake light fuse always blows out, this means that one of the electrical components on the same circuit has issues or problems that cause it to draw out more current than it should. When that happens, one of the components is probably causing the entire circuit to short out, which would then force the fuse to blow.

This is not a problem caused by the brake pedal switch (both of the plunger switches located at the pedal test ok). With the car ignition on and the transmission in park, no pressure on the brake
